What is the No Scrubs AI trend?

"No Scrubs" is TLC's 1999 hit and spent four weeks at number one in the US. Its video puts the trio in a white and silver space station: a wall of giant TLC letters, an elevator rising out of a shaft, fisheye shots from the floor and the ceiling. The song came back in 2026, and by September it was back on the R&B charts.

On September 23, 2026 TLC posted a cut of the music video on TikTok. Its first 16 seconds are the template for every AI version, with 12 shots and hard cuts on the beat:

• 0–2.4 s: the lead in front of the TLC letters, then rising in the elevator.
• 2.4–3.1 s: the second singer leans into the lens and wags a finger: "no".
• 3.1–4.9 s: a close-up of the lead mouthing the words.
• 4.9–7 s: all three dance in a row in front of the letters.
• 7–8.3 s: the third singer squats and reaches for a fisheye lens.
• 10.6–12.5 s: the fisheye shot from above, the lead bracing against the walls.
• The rest: the three of them dancing together, close and wide.

On October 17, 2026 @warped.ai posted the first AI version, with three streamers swapped in shot for shot. Three days later a version with video game characters passed 1.5 million views, and tutorials for a one-photo CapCut template followed.

Our No Scrubs trio follows the same 12 shots with your own photos: you in the middle with the solo shots, up to two friends for the finger wag and the squat, and our dancers in any empty spot. We don't use TLC's faces, and we don't allow photos of celebrities or streamers.

1. Open the generator and add your photo for the middle spot.
2. Add a friend for the left and the right, or leave them for our dancers.
3. Watch the free 4-second preview: the letters, the elevator, the finger wag and your close-up.
4. Unlock the full 15-second video, download it with the song, and post. The sound guide covers TikTok's own sound.
